Amy Pierce

Amy Pierce is registered with the Board of Counseling as a Resident in Counseling as well as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. She completed her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2021 and started the PhD Psychology and Counseling with a concentration in Trauma and Crisis program at Regent University in 2022.  She has had 10 years of experience working with adults and adolescents in the substance abuse and mental health fields. She has provided these services in outpatient and inpatient treatment centers, as well as at a correctional facility.  Amy uses an integrative theoretical approach allowing everyone’s need/s to be met by a combination of therapies.  She uses active listening skills, psychoeducation, empathy, and encouragement, as well as art and music to elicit lifelong changes. Amy enjoys going to outdoor music festivals and getting out on the lake during the summer.
